Made two major wisecracks in my photography class today. Didn't do it to purposely disrupt the class, mind you, but we all know how I can never resist the opportunity.
Today, we browsed through photographs we've taken over the weekend. We were assigned 1,000 pictures each; fortunately for us, they could be anything we wanted and they didn't necessarily have to be good. My professor told us if we took top-notch pictures every time, we should just quit the class and get a job.
One girl didn't have quite all her pictures ready, so she declined from her presentation, and I told her, "A little camera shy, eh?"
My professor looked at me funny and asked, "Was that supposed to be a pun?"
"Yes."
Later, as we were critiquing a picture someone took of a partially frozen puddle, I said very softly, "I see (icy) what you mean."
The professor was right next to me, so he obviously heard me, and he gave me that look again and told me that was really bad.
"So bad, it was good?" I asked him.
"No."
That was all, but I heard him mutter that he's going to remember me as the funny one.
