I used to dread the end of summer. Like any kid, I wished the season could last forever; I dreaded the days getting shorter and colder, as well as the prospect of school starting up again.
This year, for once, I'm looking forward to a change of seasons. This summer's been terrible, to say the least. Oh, I know things won't be perfect in the fall, or the winter, or any time of the year.
Still, as much as I thought I'd never say it, good riddance to summer.
