I was starting to think I'd never get around to men's clothing. But today, instead of sorting books, I was (at long last) assigned to sorting clothes. Young men's clothes, to be exact, as in babies and toddlers.

Sounds like an easy job, right? Guess again. You have to go through each piece of clothing, one by one by one by one by one by one. You have to pay real close attention to the size, the color, the shade of the color, the color of the tag, and so on and so on. It keeps you busy for hours and it can get pretty tedious. My companion, who also works with me in books, complained that she likes working with the books so much better. To an extent, I have to agree. But if this is what they need me for, and if I'm getting paid for it, so be it. At any rate, someone's gotta keep the display looking nice, right?

On the plus side, I worked an earlier shift today, which means I got off earlier in the afternoon.

Also, I went to a wedding reception tonight. A man I go to church with lost his wife about a year and a half ago, and today he's remarried. It was a nice reception, and I couldn't help thinking about my wedding reception, if I ever have one.

It's a shame Dad won't be there if I do get hitched. I had been hoping he would, at the very least, live to see my kids if I had any.

This may be an ignorant question, but if two people remarry after losing their spouses, what is supposed to happen in the afterlife? I only ask because you mentioned once that people married in the church are considered married for eternity.
