For a somewhat pleasanter change of topic, how many of the classic Walt Disney films have you watched up till now? I'm talking the real movies here, the true-blue theatrical features that made up Disney (and our childhood) as we know and love it today.

These are movies that have actually been released and you will need to have seen it all the way through, if no more than once in your life, whether on the big screen or your own TV.

For the ones that yours truly has seen thus far, the title shall be marked with a golden star. ;)

First off to each their own...my opinion is probably the polar opposite of many people but hey it is my opinion

Anyway from your list I've seen and/or own all but Atlantis, Black Cauldron, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt, Frozen (never will either), and Big Hero 6...Great Mouse Detective and Mulan are hands down my favorites...and Pooh is just nostalgia for me

I personally love TLK series and also like The Emperor's New Groove and Kronk's New Groove (really I like most every movie of old and many of the new ones)

Now maybe it's from growing up with Disney and the countless trips down to Orlando but I love the music in the films both animated and real life (I know this is about animated classics but I'm with Walt on Feed The Birds...so beautiful)...for the animated movies Kiss The Girl, Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, and Bella Note are a few of my tops

I also don't just think a good feature is Disney...but love so many that aren't (like Balto and The Lorax)

I have always loved the princess movies and have been drawn to the old classics like Dumbo probably because of all the hard work that went into them (having to draw each panel and then transfer that to a clear cell...paint it...and then photograph it on the background...)

I guess I've just always loved the classics...and the ones that aren't...call it growing up with the movies or my huge VHS/DVD collection but there is just something about them...anyway I too will miss the 2D movies I grew up with...along with the TV series I got so hooked on (Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Lilo and Stitch, and all those not linked to a movie) but I'm staying optimistic for the most part (this stupid Avatar makeover int he park and just about cutting out character meet and greets in the parks is a MAJOR MISTAKE IMHO) and look forward to the next release (still counting the days until Finding Dory...yes it's Pixar and some may not approve of it or Nemo but I'm a fish fan for it lol)

Last note...try to see Home On The Range at least once...it's so funny...yeah some can't stand the voices...but that's typical of any movie (I heard quite a few different opinions of Celene Dion in the Muppet movie that came out a couple years ago) I think it's still a good one and some of the humor is just great ;)

(you know I think humor is what brings some magic to these classics...like all the clocks in Pinocchio were jokes thought up by the animators...and the gags and personalities of the characters in others...I almost feel Walt in those movies when I go back and watch them...)
