My Heart Will Go On

Description

Every night in my dreams,
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far
Wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more
You open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life, we'll always go on

Near, far
Wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more
You open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

You're here
There's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay
Forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

"My Heart Will Go On" ~ as sung by Celine Dion

While I don't like the movie Titanic, I adore that song by Celine Dion. It's possibly the most beautiful love song ever invented. That's Terence and Rhiella all over. It's about time I did another picture of these two, and it's about time I did one of them kissing. I'd say this is the best picture of them that I've done yet. If you notice, Rhiella's hair is different. That's right; I decided it would be a lot better if she didn't have quite so many "stripes" in her hair.

Ah, true love. Isn't it beautiful?

Very nice. :) There are a few anatomy tips I have--mainly with the hands and the heads. You seem to have a lot of trouble with hands; here's a great tutorial: [link] And, of course, look at your own. Just some common mistakes people make: first, remember that your fingers have two joints, not one, and that both joins curve at the same time. A lot of animated films simplify this, but that is okay because they mastered real anatomy first and they can make it see like there are two joints even when they've only technically drawn one. Second, remember the size of the hand. If you place the bottom at your chin, the middle finger should come around midway up the forehead, kinda sorta. Two important things to remember.

Also take care with your skull construction. Here is a great guide to figure drawing, with notes on the head [link] and, of course, study real skulls and how they are set on top of the spine. :)

Good idea giving Rhiella's hair less highlights. The more relatable a character is, the more your reader will like them... and that includes physical appearance and hairstyle ;) But, again, learn how real hair flows--for instance, hair doesn't form a swirly triangle at the end, as it does in one part of Rhiella's hair. It always tapers.

Finally, remember to choose less saturated colors... but I already told you about that. ^^

Oh, and one more thing--I believe the song was written by James Horner (I think...) It was only sung by Celine Dion, not written by her, and I don't think she has the copyright.

Happy drawing! ^^
